This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by 1980 US Olympic hero Dave Christian during the 1989-90 NHL season and thru the 1990 Stanley Cup Finals. Christian was one of the Minnesota boys that Herb Brooks would come to rely heavily upon as the 1980 Olympics took shape. In 7 Olympic games, Christian chipped in 8 points as team USA literally performed a Miracle on Ice, defeating the heavily favored Russians and then capturing the gold medal against Finland.
After winning gold, Dave immediately began his NHL career with the Winnipeg Jets where he tabbed 18 points in 15 games during the 1979-80 season. Christian went on to have a most impressive 15-year NHL career, notching 340 goals and nearly 800 points before hanging up the skates. Dave is a member of the 40-goal club and was also an NHL All Star selection in 1991 as a member of the Boston Bruins. In addition to the 1980 Olympics, Christian played 59 games for the US National team in 1980 which led up to the Olympics and also represented Team USA during the 1981, 1984 and 1991 Canada Cups.
