This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Curt Giles during the 1988-89 NHL season. Giles was a 14-year NHL veteran who played the majority of his career with the North Stars. In fact, he spent parts of 12 of those seasons representintg the Twin Cities which followed 4 years at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Giles served as the North Stars Captain for 2+ seasons and was a beloved figure in Minnesota.
Sewn proudly to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. Giles first became the North Stars regular Captain during the 1988-89 NHL season making it possible that this is his first full time Captain’s jersey.
