This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Brent Ashton during the 1988-89 NHL season. Ashton began his NHL career with Vancouver in 1979-80 after spending 4 seasons with the Saskatoon Blades. Other NHL stops included the Colorado Rockies, New Jersey, Minnesota, Quebec, Detroit, Winnipeg, Boston and Calgary in an NHL career that spanned 14 seasons. This one-time 30-goal man notched 284 goals and 629 points in nearly 1000 NHL games.
Sewn to the right shoulder of this sweater is the Goals For Kids patch. Both sleeves on this gamer have been cropped down in size at the wrists. Solid game use exists with loads of stick marks which litter the body and sleeves in addition to board burns, un-repaired burn holes and fine inner pilling. Nice vintage representation from this defunct team which was worn during Brent’s first season in Winnipeg and the only 30-goal season of his career!
