Description
1987-88 Steve Tambellini Canucks Game Worn Jersey
Lot #34
This road black knit gamer by CCM was worn by Steve Tambellini during the 1987-88 NHL season. Tambellini was the New York Islanders 1st round draft choice in the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft. He spent 3 seasons with the Islanders and was a member of their first Stanley Cup winning team in 1979-80. Next up for Steve was a trip to the Rockies and then New Jersey, where Steve spent a few years before heading west to Calgary and eventually Vancouver. He completed his career with a 3-year stint near his hometown of Trail, BC. Steve is presently the General Manager of the Edmonton Oilers.

The game wear on this sweater is solid consisting of stick marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, fine inner pilling and several team-sewn repairs. Offered here is a beautiful vintage gamer that is nearly a quarter of a century removed from the ice.
