1987-88 Randy Carlyle Jets Game Worn Jersey
Lot #73
This road blue air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Randy Carlyle during the 1987-88 NHL season. Carlyle was the 2nd round selection of the Toronto Maple Leafs back in 1976. After playing parts of 2 seasons with the Leafs, Carlyle found a home with the Pittsburgh Penguins where he would represent the Steel City for the next 6 seasons. Randy’s last stop in the NHL was in Winnipeg, where he played for parts of 10 years before retiring following the 1992-93 campaign.

Carlyle enjoyed a 17-year career that saw him play in more than 1000 games and score nearly 650 points. In 1980-81, Carlyle attained his greatest individual honor by capturing the Norris Trophy as the NHL’s best defenseman. Since leaving the league as a player, Randy has taken up coaching and is now the head man behind the bench in Anaheim.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Sewn to the right shoulder is the Goals For Kids Patch. The game use on this sweater is solid consisting of many stick marks and board burns, board paint transfer, washed out bloodstains and fine inner pilling. A Nice old defunct gamer worn by this Norris Trophy winning defenseman.
