This road blue knit gamer by CCM was worn by goaltender Bob Janecyk during the 1987-88 AHL season. Janecyk, a native of Chicago IL, began his professional career in 1979. He played for a handful of minor league teams before getting his first chance in the NHL with his hometown Blackhawks in 1983-84. He next moved to Los Angeles and became a fixture in the nets for the Kings where he guarded the pipes for parts of 5 years. Those final 2 years saw Bob split time between the Kings and the New Haven Nighthawks. Offered here is Janecyk’s road gamer from his time with New Haven.
