This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Steve Kasper during the 1986-87 NHL season. Kasper played 13 NHL seasons spending the first 9 of those with the Boston Bruins. During that time he was 4-times a 20+ goal man. Steve won the NHL’s Frank J. Selke Award as the leagues best defensive forward in 1981-82, becoming the first player to unseat Montreal’s Bob Gainey who captured the award in its first 4 seasons of existence.
Sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Game use consists of stick marks, board burns, plenty of that lovable Boston Garden board paint transfer, washed out bloodstains, inner pilling and a team-sewn repair. Fine looking example which hails from the coveted set of knits which were worn more than 2 decades ago.
