This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Scott Arniel during the 1986-87 6NHL season. Arniel was drafted 22nd overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft. After 5 years in Winnipeg, Scott moved east to Buffalo where he took up residence on the Left Wing for another 4 seasons. A season more each in Winnipeg and Boston proceeded another 7 seasons in the IHL. Arniel partook in 730 NHL games over 11 seasons in the bigs.
This sweater was worn during Scott’s first season wearing his new blue and gold colors. The sleeves of this gamer have been custom shortened by the team. Strong game use highlights this jersey, which undoubtedly spent plenty of time along the boards of the old Aud. Featured are many stick marks and board burns, loads of board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and slash marks, heavy inner pilling and 15 team-sewn repairs. A tremendous vintage example.
