1985-86 John Del Col Baltimore Skipjacks Game Worn Jersey

This home white mesh gamer by Cooper was worn by John Del Col during the 1985-86 AHL season. The Pittsburgh Penguins selected Del Col in the 9th round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. This St. Catherines native spent 3 years playing for the Toronto Marlboros before joining the AHL’s Baltimore Skipjacks in 1985-86, for whom he would represent for two seasons. Del Col also spent some time in the IHL in the mid 1980’s representing Muskegon and Toledo.  

Sporting the Pittsburgh Penguins color scheme and design, the game wear on this sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and fine inner pilling. Also worthy of mention is a nameplate change.
