This road black heavy mesh gamer by CCM was worn by Mike Krushelnyski during the 1983-84 NHL season. Mike enjoyed a 14-year NHL career that began with 3 seasons in Boston before moving onto the Edmonton Oilers for 4 years, the Kings, Leafs and Red Wings. During his 4-year stay in Edmonton, Mike walked away with 3 Stanley Cups, quite a run. His finest individual season came during his first season with Edmonton in 1984-85 when he tallied 43 goals and 88 points.
This set, with the jumbo sized CCM on the rear hem, has proved pretty elusive in our hobby. This fine looking example shows solid game use consisting of many stick marks and board burns, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and double digit team-sewn repairs. The possibility exists that the nameplate, as with most from this era, may not be the only one to have been on this jersey. This fine looking and well worn example is sure to enhance any collection of 1980’s gamers.
