This road red heavy mesh gamer by Sandow SK and Cosby was worn by Bob MacMillan during the 1982-83 NHL season, the Devils first year of existence. The New York Rangers selected MacMillan in the 1st round of the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft. He began his career with the WHA’s Minnesota Fighting Saints where he spent a couple of years before joining the NHL in 1974-75. Bob spent a lone season with the Rangers, parts of 3 with St. Louis and then parts of 5 with the Flames before he joined the Colorado Rockies during the 1981-82 season. MacMillan relocated with the franchise to New Jersey and became an original member of the Devils franchise. He spent 2 years with the Devils and then played for the Hawks for a season before retiring. MacMillan was twice a 30-goal man, netting a career high 37 in 1978-79, the year he won the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy.
Sewn into the collar of this gamer is the Sandow SK and Cosby tags.
