This home white heavy mesh gamer by Sandow SK was worn by Tony Feltrin during the 1981-82 AHL season. Feltrin was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1980 NHL Amateur Draft. He spent 3 years with the Penguins in the early 1980’s and ended his career with the New York Rangers in 1985-86.
This tough nosed defenseman spent 72 games with the Erie Blades in 1981-82, the only year they were the Penguins AHL affiliate. He chipped in 19 points and 117 PIMS while wearing this gamer.
The game wear on this vintage Sandow jersey is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. A fantastic old school Blades gamer from their only season in the AHL, while also sporting the brand new Penguins black and gold colors.
