This white dureen gamer by Cosby was worn by Steve Shutt during the 1978 NHL All Star game in Buffalo. Shutt patrolled the Left Wing on one of the greatest lines in NHL history alongside fellow Hall of Famers Guy Lafleur and Jacques Lemaire. He was an integral part of the Canadiens dynasty of the 1970’s, winning 5 Stanley Cups in all during that decade. The 1976-77 season saw Steve lead the NHL in goals with 60. With this total he became only the 2nd player in the history of the league to ever score 60 goals in a season. Shutt was 3 times a 1st or 2nd team NHL All Star and he represented the Canadiens in 4 NHL All Star games. His 424 career goals were one of the better totals accumulated during his era as were his 50 playoff goals and nearly 100 playoff points. Steve had a knack for scoring the big goal and will forever be remembered as one of the finest Left Wingers of his generation. His 1993 Hall of Fame induction was well deserved and never in doubt.
