This spectacular blue dureen gamer by Athletic Knit was worn by Lee Fogolin during the 1976 Canada Cup tournament. Selected in the 1st round by Buffalo in 1974, this Chicago born defenseman began his career with the Sabres in 1974-75 and had the thrill of a Stanley Cup Finals march right out of the gate. Fogolin would serve the Sabres franchise for 5 seasons before joining the expansion Edmonton Oilers in 1979-80. He would serve as Oilers Team Captain for 3 seasons before handing the reigns over to a kid named Gretzky in 1983. After 8 years with Edmonton and 2 Stanley Cup titles, he finished his career where it began with the Buffalo Sabres. Fogolin was an NHL All Star in 1986 and represented the United States in the inaugural Canada Cup tournament of 1976.
