Description
1952-53 Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup Championship Presentation Bowl
Lot #201

This 1952-53 Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup Championship Presentational Bowl was given to front office member Paul Raymond following the Canadiens Stanley Cup vicory in 1953. Raymond also played for the Canadiens for 65 games in the early to mid 1930's.

Intricate design work leaves space for the engraving of the particulars, which read, "Club de Hockey Canadien Inc., Paul Marcel Raymond," and "National Hockey League, Stanley Cup Winners, Season 1952-53." The silver-plated copper bowl shows wear in the interior, but the exterior presents as new with no damage to note. The bowl stands 6 inches tall with a bowl diameter of 8 1/2 inches. A marvelous artifact from the days of Rocket Richard, Jean Beliveau, Boom-Boom Geoffrion, Elmer Lach, Doug Harvey, Jacques Plante and "Butch" Bouchard.
